Magnet Greening
We at Magnet care about our school.
This cleanup was a campus cleanup during the summer before the school year started. We have our great staff members, Mr. Bottoms and Ms. Procell, who were telling the students where to focus on cleaning up, where to cut, and how to cut the bushes, because we magnet students work on the campus.
A legacy of Green.
During the school year, Magnet does multiple donation drives to multiple events where students can recycle by sending in their wares to these donation boxes, be it a sweater you haven't worn since you were a kid or a blanket that just doesn't feel right anymore. You can send it in clean and ready for another family in need to use.
Magnet Rain Garden
The Magnet Rain Garden was a community effort created by former Magnet Student Grace Thompson as her Girl Scout project and the Magnet Greens Club. This was a long but worthwhile journey for us at Magnet to have such a large project to help both our school and our relationship of our students working to improve the quality of our campus and our bonds.
